Fall Collection by She' Color's Cosmetics

Hey polish lovers!

I am back with a review of She' Color's Cosmetics. I only have wonderful things to say about them!

Let's begin with customer service Rashetta provides. Even though I wasn't a customer, she emailed me promptly responding my emails sent to her.

Her polishes are 5 Free, cruelty free, never tested on animals.

They dried fairly quick and application was smooth and easy. I was able to reach full opacity in only 2 thin coats, and as with all mu swatches I did not use any topcoat.

You can get her polishes and other beauty products HERE

Perfect Getaway

Is a soft pink color, I would say this is a crelly, because it is a little thinner than the the regular cream polish. I have deep ridges on my nails especially on my pinky and here you can see that it is visible with 2 coats, but I decided to leave it like that. I believe that a third coat would fully cover it but I was happy with the result. This color is perfect for a classic french mani.

Falling Nights

Is a beautiful Mauve cream, perfect in 2 coats. This color dried a little faster than the others. It is so delicate and I think it looks good on every skin color. Don't you think? it is perfect for this season
(and if you are like me, every other season!).

Goal Digger

Now, when I saw a friend swatch this color I said to myself: Holy Cow I need this color! I have nothing like it, and it is even more gorgeous in real life. This is a dark golden mustard (are you still with me?),  that will look amazing paired with a red for  nail art. Wear this color and you will sure make a statement! Flawless application and all that shine is natural from her polish!

Park City Blues

Did you know that the dark blue color is associated with knowledge, power, integrity and professionalism? I can totally see a powerful executive in a meeting sporting this color! Plus, you can never go wrong with blue! Seriously! It is gorgeous.

Make the Switch

This perfect cream is a deep rusty red, sexy as it can be! I'm a lover of red polish and this definitely made it's way to the top of my list! Now drool!

I am a Fighter

A brilliant and vibrant red that dries semi matte. This is not part of her fall collection, it is for Breast Cancer awareness month. This Fiery red screams fight and shows that you are determined to stay strong! If you are fighting against this monstrous disease, have a loved one in the battle or lost someone to it, please accept my prayers. I am amazed by all the studies, researches and everything and still they didn't find a cure. For us, all that remains is to have hope.

When swatching, we all get a little on our skin, and her polishes were easy to clean off the cuticles with no staining.

Well, that is all for today's post. Hope you liked it!
Polish ON!

Little Nail Girl
Neon beauties

Hey there!

I have received this beautiful trio as a giveaway prize from Little Nail Girl and they are just fabulous!

They are part of her Ready, Set, Glow Collection. You can get them HERE

I love a good neon polish and hers don't disappoint!

What I love about them is that they are creamy and not goopy, perfect coverage with 2 coats on the pink and orange and 3 coats with the green, but that is just because my nails have deep ridges and the formula on the green was a little thinner than the others.

I also didn't use a white base because the colors are so rich in pigment that white or no white undies they are as bright and vivid as day!!! And that is very exciting!

The first swatch I give you is Hey Girl Hey, it is a deliciously bright pink that threw my camera focus all over the place!

My swatch has 2 coats and no topcoat, they are shiny on their own. Awesome right?

Next is A Lotta Gelato, a perfect bright lime green neon that looks just amazing on the nails.

Last is Son a Beach, a perfect amazing orange that makes you feel just like summer!

They are amazing for water marbling and nail art!

For this water marble I did use white undies because the layer of polish when you water marble is very thin and it helps them look brighter.

Here I used all three pretties and the result was amazing!

That is all for today's post hope you enjoy them as much as I did!

Dermelect Unearthed Collection
Part I

Hey there!

I have received the new Fall collection from Dermelect to swatch and review for you!

"ME" Unearthed is a collection of six vivid colors  inspired by the beauty of Mother Nature.

For this First part of my review I chose the following colors:

What a Gem: a pale quartz full of gold shimmer

Nobody's Fool: a rich chrome marigold

To The Core: russet copper

You can't question the quality of Dermelect's products.
You can fin them HERE

They are infused with keratin protein peptide, extracted from New Zealand sheep's wool, to help strengthen the nails.

All my swatches were done with 2 coats, no topcoat.
The reason why I try to not use topcoat when I swatch, is because  topcoats tend to change the color of the polish a little, and I want to show the color as accurately as possible.

Easy application and beautiful shine!

For this launch, Dermelect partnered with the non-profit organization Trees for the Future (trees.org) and they will plant one tree for every polish that is sold from this collection through April 2017.

That is all for today's post hope you enjoyed reading it!

Pipe Dream
Impromptu Polish #6

Hello everyone!

I got this polish as a birthday gift from my friend Diane, @dmm_nails on Instagram, and just had to do a post about it. It has a purple crelly base and it is packed with magenta, pink and blue hex glitter, medium and small, silver square and hex glitter and scattered holo throughout.

I applied 2 thin coats and it was enough to get opaque. It does dry with a texture, as it is shown in this picture.

I applied INM Nails Out the Door top coat to smooth the texture a little.

I added stamping using a plate from Nicole's Diary ND105, stamped with Sinful Colors Black on Black.
What's better than a Paisley for a Pipe Dream nail art?

That is all for today's post, hope you liked this mani as much I did!

GERMANIKÜRE
CRYSTAL GLASS FILES

Hello everyone!

Today I have a review of Germaniküre Glass Nail Files.

They are handcrafted in the Czech Republic from Bohemian Glass, tempered to avoid breaking and the texture is  chemically etched onto the 3mm glass. Just to give you an idea 3mm is the average thickness of the mirror you buy for your house.

They come with phrases imprinted on them and they have a great variety to chose from here .

The files come in a leather case for storage, perfect for keeping in your bag.

Now, I am a person with a lot of sensory issues, so when I first tried  the file I felt like I was scraping my nails on chalk board. Since they said it could be used wet or dry I tried it wet and it was perfect! Softly filed my nails without all that nail dust (this drives me insane, not to mention makes my nose itch!).

The soft texture of the handle makes it easy to use. Comfortable, without scraping your skin when you hold it.

The Inspirational phrase I chose for my file was : "Your body is not wrong, Society is."
Isn't that right?

In this video she will explain to you how to spot a fake.

Here is a quick video of me filing my nails while they were wet. I also cleaned the file after using it and it looks as good as new.

Now notice how I am filing my nails with dual direction strokes, when I was done my nails felt polished, and not frayed.

They are embarking on a campaign against child labor, so stay tuned as they will have nail art contests to bring awareness to this world problem.

That is all for today's post.

Polish On!

Luciana

Stamping Stars and Stripes
For the 4th of July

Hello Lovelies,

It is time for another Nail Art idea for the 4th of July.
This time I stamped my red, white and blue.

I used:
Sinful Colors Snow me White and Endless Blue
DNA Italy Velutto

I double stamped my images using a jumbo see through squishy stamper I got from ebay, Konad scraper and HeHe plates numbers 003 and 029, the last one being a Harry Potter plate. I got them from Ali Express.

This was a very easy and quick mani.

What was used to achieve this look.

Testing to see how it would look like on my Ubber Mat

The perfect see through stamper. I was able to place my stripes effortlessly !

And the stars.

Hope you like this mani.
Have a wonderful weekend and a safe holiday!

Luciana
