Water Spotted
4th of July

Hello Friends,
As 4th of July is just around the corner, I decided to do a few Red, White and Blue manis.

For this look I used the water spotted water marbling technique, that consists of dripping polish in the water and spraying with some alcohol solution. I used Bath and Body Works Amber Vanilla Body Spray.

I had fun doing this mani! Hope you like that idea!

I used:
Dermelect Phenom
Pharmacias Granado Rita
DNA Italy Velutto
INM Nails White Porcelain.

Each polish will react differently to the alcohol spray.

That is all for today's post.
I will have a few more designs coming, so stay tuned!

Polish On!

Posh Nail Color

Hello everyone,

Today I will talk about Posh Nail Color. They are brand new and I am blown away by their quality.

I received 3 of their colors for review. They came packaged in this box with the company's name and each was individually wrapped in bubble wrap covered with a gift tissue paper.

Their polishes are 100% cruelty free and vegan and are 8 free.

But what does that mean?
They are free of  8 harsh chemicals that usually go into making nail polish.

Here is the list:

No Toluene
No Dibutyl Phtalate
No Formaldehyde
No Formaldehyde Resin
No Camphor
No Parabens
No Xylene
No Triphenyl Phosphate

Tongue twisting!!

They are fast drying and have a beautiful shine.
You can find these colors and many other beautiful ones at Posh Nail Color

The colors I received were Mintini, a mint green cream, perfect formula opaque in one coat. My swatch you see 2 coats plus topcoat.

Next is Don't Shy Away, a beautiful light brown color that was also opaque in one coat, another perfect formula, my swatch you see 2 coats plus topcoat. In my opinion it is the perfect color for that work place that has strict policies for nail colors. It is neutral and looks really good on the nails.

The last one is Oreo Truffle, a glitter topper, with mini, medium and large black and white hex glitters in a clear base that goes well over any color polish.
Here is Oreo Truffle over Mintini

One thing I always do is try my new polishes for watermarbling, not that I am a specialist on the technique, but I like trying my hand on everything!
Guess what? They spread like a dream!!!
Lovely bulls eye!

I said I am no specialist! I like this look, but I don't have a good Matte topcoat so it smeared a little and left brush marks.

That is all for today and hope you liked my review.

Polish On!

Sun Polish

Hello Everyone!
This week I received 2 gorgeous new polish to swatch for you.

They are a brand new company that launched in May and their product is amazing! They have so many color choices and all of them are jaw dropping!

First off they are different, they didn't name their polishes but numbered them.

I have Number 19

it is a Pearl white crelly and I needed 4 coats because my nails have deep ridges and it wasn't looking good with only 2, but I think that for the ladies with smooth nail beds this polish will be perfect. They are available at Sun Polish

Simple swatch with 4 coats

Since this polish is the perfect consistency for a pond mani or a glitter sandwich I decided to do just that. keeping it simple but I love the result. Here I added 2 different Formula X glitter toppers, Boom and Maniacal between 2 thin coats of Sun Polish No 19.
Glitter Sandwich

Next I swatched Number 13, let me tell you this: it blew me away! It is a highly pigmented coral cream that was opaque in one coat, but I always add a second because it makes the color look better and more vivid. This coral leans a little to the red. This polish dried fast and is super shiny.

See how different lighting changed the color of the polish a little?

That is all for today's post. hope you liked my review and now get to shopping!

xoxo
